I have purchased HP ENVY X211 laptop for my sister on rakshabandhan from snapdeal. The seller as per the invoice is Gadgets Hub, Mumbai. The Invoice Date was 02.08.2014. The Docking of the Laptop was not at all working from the first day. We were thinking may some software may be required for its working. We contacted HP on 14th August 2014. They told us to send the engineer to check the problem. the engineer found multiple problems like battery not charging, touch not working etc. and applied for DOA( to change the whole Laptop) but after 2 days we got a call from HP that we cannot issue you DOA as you have purchased it from Snapdeal. Snapdeal will give you DOA. But when the manufacturer is HP why they are saying so. When I contacted snapdeal the said that we have 7 day return policy we can’t help you only HP can issue you DOA.
On Complaints the HP engineer has visited 3 times and they have demaged many working functions of the laptop. The USB drive is not working, The Left and right click keys are also not working.
The battery of the docking is not charging from the beginning of purchase it always said plugged in not charging. The touch is also not working from the beginning.
I want that HP should issue me DOA as they have 14 days replacement policy and i have register the complaint on the 13th day(2nd Aug. Invoice Date & 14th August Complaint Date). When they have manufactured something why are they blaming Snapdeal to issue DOA. I have contacted HP but the are not ready to even listen.
I want my whole Laptop to be changed.
