Sir,I am residing at Shillong, Meghalaya. In the month of March 2014 I had seen an add in the www.olx.in from DIGITAL FOTOCAM STORE
Mr. Shaikh
No. 529, Rajiv Nagar 2nd Stage Main Road
Mysore, Karnataka, India
Office No. 09582814992
that they are selling an used Nikon D800 camera which costs Rs. 38600. So I got interested in the product and requested them to send the item through cash on deliver facility. But they denied to do so and wanted advance payment for the product. So accordingly I made a payment of Rs. 40200 including courier charge to them on 7th April 2014 through online bank transfer. The details of the account holder in which I had made the payment is given below:
ACCOUNT NAME: ASGAR ALI
ACCOUNT NUMBER: 32609279053
PAN CARD NUMBER: BANPA1379N
IFS CODE: SBIN0001975
BANK NAME: STATE BANK OF INDIA
BRANCH: GOREGAON EAST
Now after the payment is done they told that they have despatched the item and I should receive it by 12th April 2014. Accordingly they sent me the invoice and the courier consignment details over mail. But surprisingly the very next day they sent me another mail saying that by mistake they have included six more items in my parcel amounting to Rs. 292000 approximately. So if I want to get my parcel I have to deposit another 32800 as refundable security deposit for the extra items that they have sent by mistake. So I refused to pay the amount and wanted my money back as this is not my fault. Then they replied that they will only give 70% of my money back and that also will take long time. Sir, as it is their mistake then why should I pay the security deposit. And that also I am not sure whether it will really work out.Sir now I feel that it may be a case of forgery. In the entire story our conversation was through email only. So I have got all the emails in my inbox which can be produced if necessary. Also as I have made the payment online I can produce the bank receipt. Moreover they have sent me the bill and the courier consignment details with me though I don’t know whether they are genuine or not. So, now I want my money (INR 40200) back or the camera as early as possible. Sir, please help me out of this problem for which I had to bear a huge loss.Your early action in this regard is highly appreciated
Thanking you
Sanjoy
