Vodafone provides a full talk time recharge of Rs. 555. I am a regular user of this particular scheme. Few days ago when I had done this same recharge, to my surprise I found that they had deducted a service charge of Rs. 61.05. I had received a balance of Rs. 493.95. When I called their Customer Care number they said that this scheme was now inactive and I wouldn’t get my money back.
I do not have an issue if they wish to discontinue this scheme, but for regular users like me Vodafone should have atleast notified that this scheme was being discontinued.
When I had asked for a reimbursement, they have refused saying that I will not be getting my money back. Hence, I decided to address my grievance in the Consumer Forum.
