No device installtion or money back from Tikona Broadband services

Location/place: Bangalore

Name of company/service: Tikona Broadband services

I had contacted Tikona Broadband services for broadband connection at my home in HSR Layout sector-2. The salesperson collected Rs 3300 upfront saying that it is a mandatory procedure. He promised installation engineer would come the next day for installing the device.
However, the installation engineer reported after almost 10 days. He denied to install the device because of some incompatibility issues. He promised that we will receive a money back cheque as soon as possible. However, 15 days have been passed then; still we haven’t received our money back.
I am very frustrated with the response from Tikona services and need an immediate action.

    I have been calling customer care everyday but they are not able to answer me.

    Today when I called she told it will take 45 days for my money to get back.
    I am not able to understand the sales exec came to my home and took 2100/- in just 15 mins. two weeks back….till now no internet connection is been provided and when its about giving my money back…why 45 days?.

    Neither you are giving me internet connection nor you are returning my money.

    kindly suggest what do I need to do.

    Hi,I applied for connection and paid 2100/- to the person who came from Tikona on 16th June and promised that connection will be done on 17th EOD.But till now I dont have any update. On calling customer care they are telling the Person who came to my residence in Bangalore is named as Venkat (cell no – 8050308926). Kindly return my money ASAP or do i need to follow legal process and follow up with consumer forum.On calling customer care they are asking for a mail for my login id. But i recieved nothing till now..

  3. Hi All

    I am also facing a similar problem, they are not able to provide me the service at new place and are not making any refund also..

    Tikona service is also very poor, 512 kbps was never there and even their service engineer also said they are giving too many connections and speed is slow everywhere.

    Almost INR 1500 are pending on their side, not sure if they will refund anything.

    Please dont go for their service , very unprofessional and customer looting policies they have.
