Misuse of customers contacts

I received a mail about an Ad that was sent for verification which I never posted.
The Ad showed my name and Account with a different number and location.I immediately changed my password in their site as well as for my mail account.
On enquiry with OLX , I was told that someone is trying to misuse my email to post ads and that they have deleted the Ad and blocked the user.
Then they asked me to lodge an FIR and send the copy to their legal department if I want to take any legal action against that user.

Again I logged into my account and found that Ad was not deactivated,anyways then I did that myself. Since I could see the contact details (as only name and email was mine), I called that User.
I posed as a caller from OLX and as if I was calling for verification for his Ad. He gave me all the details as email, mobile and address what he had used to post the Ad.
(If only he wanted to misuse, why in the world would he be giving me or olx agents his original details.
What if I would have lodged a compliant against him after the advice from OLX.

I called the OLX back again, and to my surprise I was told that My Account was blocked as they believed someone has misused it.
Not to mention , all my other ads automatically got deactivated.
Now after questioning /cross questioning them for more than an hour still I could not get a proper answer as to how this mix up took place. This is a serious issue of security breach on the OLX’s part.
What if someday my number is misused too? How is it that they are not able to make out how can someone else’s post show as mine?
And how can they ask me to take a legal action against any other customer without even verifying the issue(which is in their app/website).
In fact Shouldn’t I register a legal complaint against the OLX.
