I bought a micromax funbook infinity p 275 from Croma Koramangala Bangalore on 17 Feb 2013. Serial number is v021391209100032317 mep no 8503in the month of March
The software of the tablet got corrupted and I had submitted to Croma service desk for repair in the month of March. I was given a receipt for follow up. The tablet was send to Micromax service center. After frequent follow and visits to Croma I was called one day to collect the tablet in the month of May 2013.
To my surprise there were other issue like
1) Camera was not working,
2) Not getting charged,
3) Tablet screen is replaced with some other old damaged second hand screen which happens to have lot of scratches also
4) I could see the tablet screws are protruding outside and also lost safety cap I have asked Croma to Fix all this and given me back my tablet in the same submitted status, which has even the screen guards for protecting screen.
In short It was not the tablet I submitted to Croma. Seems like its exchanged with some one elses
Croma submitted to Micromax on 09/06/2013. Croma took my old receipt and gave me a new one with new date.
This is 6 months now and I have been following up weekly on this. I got a message from Croma Manager Uma (mobile 7353753481) to come and collect it from the croma store. The message read “Sir Pls collect ur tablet 4rm the croma store. Which is in koramangala 6th blk. near to Sony world signal.” dated 30/07/2013
I went to croma store to collect it today.3/08/2013.
To my surprise they have lost my tablet somewhere. Uma has requested me to again wait till they find it. The Koramangala store manager (mobile 9972114694) said he is not responsible he can look into it on Monday.
I asked him for a refund or I was also ready to buy anything of equivalent or more price from croma if I get a refund for this. They have completely denied all my request and asked me to wait until they find it. For this same issue I have visited Croma several times (may be 15 to 20 times) since March Uma (mobile 7353753481) used to fool me always saying she will get it done in one week.
I have paid 20 rupees as parking charges every time I have visited croma + petrol (my house is 12 km away from Croma) + time (every time I would have spent 1 to 2 hours waiting for resolution)
I wanted Croma manager to provide a letter in writing that he will surely fix it on coming Monday, he has denied that also. I require a refund for the Tablet now.
