Migration from Postpaid to Prepaid

Location/place: Mumbai

Name of company/service: Reliance

I submitted my request (Service request no.203093667) for conversion from postpaid to prepaid on 18.05.2013 at 12 noon at Reliance Webworld – Andheri East JB Nagar, I paid my entire outstanding and paid extra amount for another 5 days on pro-rata basis according to my usage some 500 bucks extra, few days later I received a call regarding confirmation of the same at my alternate number offering me some cheap deals which I denied, later on I received a message on 22.05.2013 at 18:11 from Reliance that my service request have been processed.Few days later I again receive a call from Reliance saying that some amount is outstanding and since I made some outgoing calls my request is not processed and the executive told me to pay some Rs. 200+ and wait for another five days for conversion. My entire issue when I paid extra amount on pro-rata basis, how can I be denied for making calls, my plan(899 +399 for Blackberry) allows me to make some 3 hrs calls (STD + Local) daily then why do I need to pay the extra amount. I wrote the mail regarding the same to customer care but my efforts gone in vain. The reply I got was more shocking they wrote that I have not received the confirmation call and I have to pay Rs. 417 for conversion. I simply dont understand why the conversion is not done then and there when the customer has made the entire payment/outstanding?just to offer some cheap deals. Why the migration (esp from postpaid to prepaid) is taking hell lot of time. I hope this issue will be sorted out

Although I received call from Reliance saying that my number will be changed from postpaid to prepaid and I don’t have to pay any amount as extra amount of Rs. 400 approx is already paid to Reliance by me. Funny part is I dont know whom to beleive because on the other hand I am getting mails from Appellete authority of Reliance that kindly pay your outstanding amount in order to migrate from Postpaid to Prepaid. Reliance Executive called up to inform that my request of conversion will be made ASAP but I think they are just playing around with customers and moreover the customer is not very sure how much money they already paid to this fraud company Reliance.
