I bought the Micromax funbook p350 on Jan 7th 2013 and within 10 days, it went to service center as it was continuously vibrating and they have returned the Tab by changing the touch screen with an used one. Though the issue was not completely resolved and a new issue of signal dropping was araised.Again, it was submitted at service center on 8th of feb with vide Docket# N030235-0213-2840125. It’s been 15 days with no status update and they were saying, if at all it needs a replacement, i would be getting with a motherboard replaced and the same existing used touch screen. Out of 45 days, 30days the device was unusable and for paying a brand new product, now i am getting all the used or refurbished parts as a replacement. How good this justification is and why should I be using a refurbished product when I have paid for brand new one? After all, the service center people is giving a toll free number for customer service, which always says “Network Busy” and if it connects also they are giving one commitment to the customer and updating some other at heir end. With the Case ID: mmx1402138644, I spoke to one of the Micromax executive and he has assured me that I am going to get my device back with in 7 days. When I call them back, it usually says network busy and after trying for 2 hours, i have got the line and a lady executive have changed the existing commitment status as “You would be knowing the status of the complaint within 7 working days and it is updated in the sameway. However, the service status is still in pending and we are not sure the when it would be completed”. After arguing for a longtime, the lady has given me a manager’s number called Sumanth. Sumant has answered my call after trying for two days and sending msgs about the servive, how they are serving the customers after selling product.
Kindly cancel the license for these kind of manufacturers or else take necessary action to restrict these kind of third class products.
