MENTAL HARASSMENT BY POOR SERVICE OF MICROMAX MOBILE SERVICE CENTER

Respected Madam/Sir,

It is submitted that my micromax cell was having trouble in downloading. So, I visited the micromax center at Bhikaji Cama Place on 1st May 2015 and handed over to them for repair. The employee told me that they will send this mobile to Mayapuri (Delhi) center and after repairing the cell phone will be delivered to my residential address (Job Sheet No.31828-0515-16388518 dated 1st May 2015.

On 9th May 2015, I got a call from 8802107302. But I couldn’t receive that number due to busy schedule. In the evening when I reached home, my wife told me that she got a call from micromax and she told that employee that she don’t know about my mobile and my husband will speak to you later on. Then I made a call on the above mentioned number and that employee told me to collect the handset from micromax center of Sec-15, Noida.

Then, I called micromax center of Bhikaji Cama Place and remind them about their promise of delivering my cell phone at my residential address. They called up again at the above mentioned mobile number and then informed me that my wife had told them to deliver the handset at Sec-15, Noida. Then, I called up the above mentioned number and spoke to the employee. I simply said to him that my wife hadn’t told him to deliver the handset at sec-15, Noida. He told that he hasn’t job sheet and it will be difficult for him to pick mobile from sec-15, Noida and then deliver it to me. I told him that it doesn’t matter; I will pick the handset from sec-15, Noida but at least don’t lie.

On 15 May I went to sec-15, Noida metro station to pick my hand set. I asked an auto driver about the micromax center in sec-15. He said there is no micromax center in sec-15. So, I called up on the above mentioned mobile number and asked him about the micromax center at sec-15. Again that employee told me that he hadn’t said sec-15. It’s in sec-27. Again one more lie by that employee of micromax.

Then, I went to micromax center, sec-27, Noida where I was informed that they don’t have my handset and I have to visit again on 16 May 2015 to pick it. I simply refused that I am not going to collect it. I told him either to deliver it to my residential address or at Bhikaji Cama Place. He said that they can come at Vaishali metro station. I said ok, I will receive it from there. But the whole day on 16 May 2015, nobody called up me from micromax center sec-27, Noida regarding delivery of handset.

On 16 May 2015, I sent an e-mail on [email protected] regarding the complaint. After that, I contacted Jaago Grahak Jaago on 1800114000 (complaint No. 597387) who advised me first write a letter to Gurgaon address along with both the service center (Bhikaji Cama Place & Sec-27, Noida) and wait for 10 days for their reply. After that I can move to Consumer Court for compensation.

On 18 May 2015, I sent a letter to Micromax House, Gurgaon and its copy to Bhikaji Cama Place center and sec-27, Noida center. On 19 May 2015, I got call from Bhikaji Cama Place. In the meanwhile, I got a call from Micromax, Delhi as well as from the above mentioned mobile number. I told them now I will go to Consumer Court for compensation for mental harassment. I even wrote 2-3 e-mails to [email protected] but in vain. The letter sent to sec-27, Noida Micromax center was returned to me by postman stating that the service center refused to receive it.

Finally I got my handset on 25 May 2015 but good for nothing. They didn’t repair it. It was working as it was working earlier. Micromax service center also removed the screen guard from my mobile.

Now, my complaint is that I was mentally harassed by the employee of micromax whose mobile number is mentioned above. Two times he lied to me. I request you to take strict action against micromax company. When my handset was repaired and handed over to sec-27, Noida, then why they didn’t hand over to me on 15 May 2015. Where they sent my handset? A heavy fine should be imposed on micromax to teach them a lesson.
