I (Pramod Kumar Malhotra) residence at Flat no-4,Plot no-223,Arihant Apartment,Sector-28,Vashi,Navi Mumbai,want to lodge a complaint against MD India Health Care Services (TPA) Pvt Ltd Pune, who are third party associate for M/s United India Insurance Company Ltd,Head Office -24,white road,Chennai-600014 for settling their mediclaims.
Sir,I was having a family Medicare policy with The New India Assurance Ltd for five years i.e from 28th feb 2007 to 28th feb 2012,in which myself,my wife (Seema Malhotra) and my son (Aakash Malhotra) were covered.
Last policy number was 14080034100100020151 which expired on 28th feb 2012.
On the same day i.e 28th feb 2012, I shifted my policy from The New India Assurance Co Ltd to United India Insurance Company Ltd Policy number- 121001/48/11/06/00002681 dated 28th feb 2012 without any break.
The same policy was renewed on 28th feb 2013 Policy number- 121001/48/12/06/00002676 which expires on 27th feb 2014. I have paid Rs.44,330/- as a premium for two years to M/s United India Insurance Co Ltd.
My mistake was,the company’s broker not guided me that for continuation of policy we have to port the policy The New India Assurance to United India Insurance Company Ltd,where as we are continuing our policy from
last seven years without any break.
Last week my son got ill,he was having congestion and nasal blockage,when I showed to ENT Surgeon in Bombay Hospital (Mumbai),the doctor advised for surgery.I forwarded my request with all required documents
such as Consultant Letter,Investigation Reports,Copy of Latest Policy for Cashless Claim.Two days,MD India people made me fool saying your documents are not received,they are incomplete so on.
Third day I received a call from MD India HealthCare Services (TPA) Pvt Ltd Pune,that our claim is denied as our Mediclaim Policy is two year old and the surgery for sinus is covered after third year as per their policy.
Sir,as per my knowledge the four companies which MD India is dealing i.e The New India Assurance Co,United India Insurance,National Insurance Co Ltd and Oriental Insurance Co Ltd are same and wholly owned by
Government Of India.
My request to you is as I and my family is paying generously from last seven years without any break our claim should be considered as genuine.

2.With United India Insurance Co Ltd his MD India ID number is MDI5-0012064143
Sir,we are sure that going through all details,you people will help us in getting our claim approved from United India Insurance Company Ltd through MD India HealthCare Services (TPA) Pvt Ltd Pune,as the case is genuine.
