I was hospitalised in Jaslok Hospital from 18th October 2008 to 24th October 2008 for Thalassemia & Amaemia Treatment. As an employee of Standard Chartered Finance Limited (SCFL) I was provided ICICI Lombard Medi-Claim with Hospital care (premium of this policy was regularly cut each month from my salary)by Paramount Health Services Pvt. Ltd. as if I would be admitted in hospital, the hospital expenditures would be re-imbursed. After being discharged from hospital I submitted all the reports & scans along with discharge card but after some days they rejected the claim justifying that they couldn’t see any line of treatment. I clarified each & everything as I was admitted in hospital in critical condition then they asked me about some clarification from the hospital, I also provided them the same on hospital’s letter head which they readily agreed on. But after some days they again rejected my claim repeating the same thing which they were saying before. Since then its been total harassment and mental agony I’ve been going through each time I visit their office at Elite auto House,54A, M. Vasanji Road, Off Andheri-Kurla Road,Andheri(E),Mumbai-400093. I spent Rs. 56000/- on my treatment by taking personal loan as I’ll return it by claiming my policy.
But its been a disappointing, rude and unsocial behaviour from Paramount that still I see no hope from them.
I could provide all the reports, scans and letter head from the hospital if needed.
