Maturity amount not paid by LIC

Dear Sir/Mam,

This is Niraj from Mumbai, my case is of pending payment of LIC maturity of 10 years back, LIC policy got matured 10 years back and bank issued check against that, we never received and again we raised to Bank, then bank again re-issued the cheque and we have also a copy of that in which bank manager wrote about issuing it. Again we never received the cheque and again we raised and it continued.
Since then my grandfather tried all means to get the cheque issued, just bank officials were saying they will issue the cheque again and till now we have not received cheque.

My grandfather is 75 years old and he can not travel to bank, my question is that can we have any other sophisticated means to get the money back from LIC, if yes please suggest how to go about it?
