I got my brand new 2015 Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire ZXI Delivered on 09th March 2015 .First day I had a driver assisted from the showroom and took my car home.Second day it was standing idle at my home.Third day started taking the car and drove it my office which was 20KM away.Worked in office for 7 hrs and started the car late evening
I pulled my car from basement to ground floor and all on a sudden full smoke came out of the car..People standing/driving around started screaming and they asked me to stop the car.Opened the bonnet and started investigating.Called road side assistance 1800* number.The call agent gave me a mechanic number and the mechanic was speaking so rude that he cannot come down to office as it was late evening(complaint# 862970) Passers by stopped seeing me struggling with the car..One guy who was an experienced driver found out that radiator had not been filled with water..Thats the reason smoke came…While the mechanic kept arguing coming down to my place I filled in water and started moving my vehicle
Smoke had completely gone but another problem started.The clutch was not working as expected and I found it difficult while changing the gears.Please remember that I have not driven more than 80 KM yet..I pullled it to one of the Maruti authorized car dealer.With the help of people there I reached out to Maruti on road support
Couple of service persons came by and after investigating they told the clutch box had been completely worn out…He screamed at me that was a driver problem..I got taken back and shocked completely..its just 3rd day and have not even driven more than 80 KM..totally perplexed to hear the complaint..The car was towed and I took an auto to come back home
With lot of money spent I finally ended waiting for 2 hrs in the road and left helpless with no other option but to come back in an auto and write this email
