when tatasky launched, i bought the equipment at a whopping rs 8000/- a few years back. today, owing to competition tatasky is selling the same connection for rs 1000/- and charges the sky for watching television per month. even today they demand rs 5000/- as annual subscription fee. we old subscribers feel cheated. there is no way we can shift our subscription to another service provider because of frequency issues. is there any mechanism whereby there is a level playing ground vis-a-vis old subscribers? i also demand portability like mobile phones in DTH services.
