I purchased a LG refrigerator on 1st April 2012 with 1 year functional warranty. In less than 4 months my refrigerator has stopped working completely. I registered a complaint regarding the same with the dealer from whom I purchased the refrigerator. Dealer- TIWARI ELECTRONICS, PITAM PURA
Upon registering the complaint they sent an executive who identified that there is gas leakage in refrigerator and service will be given the next day. The next day two executives visited and after refilling gas when the fridge still did not work informed me that the compressor of my fridge is at fault. When asked upon the service and change of compressor they told me that my refrigerator is international and the compressor is not available right now. The change of compressor will be done in 2-3 days depending on availability. The change of my compressor took more than 15 days as the compressor was not available with them. Its been 10 days now that my compressor has been changed but my refrigerator is still not working. Upon registering a second complaint they said there is gas blockage. I want my refrigerator to be replaced with a fresh piece as it has been only 3 months and it has so many problems. It is very unusual that the compressor is dead in such a short span of time.
he company is not ready to replace my fridge just because thee is a stamp on my bill stating- “NO EXCHANGE AND NO REFUND”
