I have already connection from Airtel issued by my Bank. On date 02.08.2014 I visited to Karnal Office for one more connection post paid for my internet. The staff at Karnal refuse to accept as address proof of my earlier bill which was issued by Airtel and I have already submitted the documents of KYC at the time of my previous connections, but the representatives at Karnal Office refuse to accept that Bill, however I will like to inform you that in the same date I visited to Bajaj Finance for one advance and they accepted the Post Paid bill of Airtel as an address proof. My submission is whether one customer who has already getting the services from any company/ institutions has to ful fill the KYC norms again and again. I write a mail to customer care of Airtel, instead of resolving my problem they sent me a mail along with the check list of documents.
I am working as Sr. Manager in nationalize Bank and well aware about the KYC compliance of my customers. As per my knowledge one customer has to submit the KYC documents only once.
