KSRTC Defaulting on refunding money towards ticket cancellation request!!

Location/place: Chennai

Name of company/service: KSRTC Bus Services

Respected Sir/ Madam,

This is to bring to your kind notice the inordinate delay/ irresponsiveness on KSRTC’s part to have refunded timely towards the cancellation request that I made as early as 02nd of April. Although, by policy, KSRTC should have processed refund within 7 working days, they have not taken any step towards this eversince 02nd of April. This is despite repeated requests/ follow-ups (by email) from my and my husband (Pritam’s) side. I hereby request you to please take note of this and do the needful so that KSRTC corrects the anomaly here legitimately and at the earliest. The complete mail trail of communication between us and KSRTC is as depicted below –

Hi,

With reference to the mail below, I have not received my REFUND yet and its been more than 30 days eversince I applied for a refund. Going by your policy, you are supposed to refund within 7 working days max.

Also, no one picks up at the telephone number (080-22220386(DIRECT LINE)) as suggested by you in the mail below.

Please refund my amount immediately without further delay. Otherwise, I will have to seek appropriate legal intervention against KSRTC for defaulting.

We have received your mail and necessary action will be taken to refund the amount. In case the amount have been received by KSRTC. You are requested to check up with the card issue bank/statement of account for the refund amount after 7 business days and also we have introduced automatic refund for failed transaction on ICICI bank gateway, hence no mail be sent for failure on ICICI bank gateway.
