Recently I booked a Sleeper Class ticket from Bhubaneswar to Bangalore Cantt. in train number 00851 scheduled for 2nd May 2015 at 12.15pm on 27/4/15. I checked the fare before booking and it said ₹1025 (includes everything). The number of seats available were 349. But when I proceeded to the payment page, the total fare was ₹2002!!
Even though I am aware that Premium Trains have dynamic pricing, but fare should not increase by ₹1000 even though it is clearly mentioned that there are 349 seats available. This is completely ridiculous by IRCTC, who in the name of providing comfortable and affordable train journey, act as a leech to suck away the money from the citizens. This act of injustice should be resolved as soon as possible!!
