Incorrect bill generation and harressment thereafter

Location/place: Mumbai

Name of company/service: Reliance communications Ltd.

It is really shocking that a well reputed company like Reliance creates blunders. Creating blunders is still acceptable, if they are ready to own up. However, it has been a case of utter negligence when my bill plan was suddenly changed on 24 May 2012 without any notification from my side and i got a huge bill of over 3000 Rs. Since then I have been following up repeatedly via mails and phone, just to get an absolutely ridiculous response….To keep track, I have kept the communication on mail, and this is something I am pasting here. Will someone now have the shame to own up and refund me my balance????

Should I translate in Hindi???????????

I have not put in any such request for change in plan.

Give me the name of the person who put in this request with the proof.

We spoke on phone and I was told that I would be given the proof that I had given this request.

You just keep copy pasting the same mail “ISSUE RESOLVED”

IT IS NOT RESOLVED…I hope this sounds out clear and loud!!!!!!!!

Revert the bill and provide the refund NOW!!!!!!

Mr Narendra, can you please call me urgently.

No response yet. Why dont the authorities call me and talk….STOP THIS NONSENSE MAIL BUSINESS

I got a call just now from your collections team saying that my balance is overdue and the fine is increasing….

I will be shortly putting this issue up on the consumer forums as I do not see any resolution or response from your side.

Its really shameful that a reputed company like Reliance has such a ridiculous workflow.

Not only do you loose existing customers this way, but also loose out a lot of credibility.

I will be sure to dissuade new customers from taking up a Reliance connection.

Learn to take up a bit more responsibility, I am sure it will go a long way in building your reputation.

Mr. Narendra, I am typically disappointed after the commitment you had given me a couple of weeks back that the issue would be resolved in 2 days. You never called me after that and neither have you had any of the authorities get back.

Regards,
Anuj

How can the request be closed with it being resolved?????

And why are you not telling me who has given this request for change of plan on 24th May?????

Give me the proof for that…do not speak in the air…

Kindly provide a final date by when I will get a resolution. I do not have time all day to sit and respond to baseless mails.

Hi,

Awaiting a revert. I have again received a bill with a fine today and am getting calls everyday from your collections dept. to pay up the amount.

This is really ridiculous. There is no revert now for months on this simple issue.

I just keep getting false assurances from whoever takes my call…..Sick people!!!!

Anuj

Subject: Complaint No – 183263106

Dear Sir / Maam,

This is to put forth one of the worst experiences that I have been facing with my Reliance landline connection.

My details:

Contact No – 02230482971
Billing Account number – 100000100893329
Connection in the name of : Mr. Sushil Kumar Khanijau

I had a 700 Rs….. per month plan (WCP 700) which included free calling to any reliance number across India for the past several years.

This bill plan was suddenly changed to a Rs. 250 /- month plan (WFL 250) from the 31st May 2012 Bill without any intimation.

I had not put any such request for a change.

I got a big bill for Rs. 3091.20 for the month of May 2012.

I had a long on going conversation and sent mails to your id to resolve this issue.

But this did not result in any resolution. Tired, I asked for my phone to be disconnected and refund to be processed.

The refund was not processed, rather in turn I started getting calls from your collections team to pay up the amount of 3091 Rs.

I have gone from pillar to post to have this resolved without any luck.

I expect a speedy resolution and a formal apology, else I will consider taking this issue top the consumer forums and higher authorities.

Hope you will help avoid this situation and provide a resolution at the earliest.

Regards,
Anuj
