I am Rupanjali Basak, resident of Belgharia, bought Tata Photon + 3g connection of unlimited plan for Rs 990 in last year May 2012 with my MicroMax Tablet from Ultadanga Tata docomo shop. Although the bill in May came with a different plan mentioned in it which was of 900/6B which I didnot subscribe to. However, I continud to pay the bill amount of Rs 1021 for May,June and July. In the month of August 2012, I was billed with Rs 1624.00 which was completely wrong since first of all didnot use so much and it is a unlimited plan hence after the usage limit, the speed drops but it is not billed. I tried to call up Tata docomo customer service and also send them email in their email address [email protected] many times raising my concern on the bill amount and asked them to contact me over email. However, there was no customer care executive who called me or addressed my email.
I have asked many times to clarify my bill plan and how this bill amount was generated however not received any calls or emails from them. I also tried to go the shop to get a copy of the bill plan however the shop is no longer there. I had stopped paying my bills from August onwards and asked them to discontinue my service. They discontinued my service from October and my last outstanding was 3355 Rs.
Since then, me and my husband is receiving threatening calls to produce the outstanding amount and recently (lettered 13th May 2013) have received letter from Advocate saying that I need to pay Rs. 2141 as outstanding amount within 1 week.
Please help me to get clarity on this situation as I am mentally disturbed.
