I contacted IFB consumer helpline on 14.08.2015 & reported that my model 20sc1(Microwave oven) is not working ,most of the panel switches are not functioning & the machine got short circuited within 2 minutes of continuous running.I also told them my machine is quite old.They told that serviceman will contact within 24 hours.Today on 17th a serviceman appears ,checked my model and told that this is an old model & IFB stopped producing parts of this model.He took a service charge around Rs 230 and disappears.I was not present home at that time.Then I asked the service person over telephone why he came to see the machine as I already reported my model no and age in the problem.He told that he can’t say anything and I may talk to his office.
In this way IFB service person cheated me today. So be aware about this type of company and think before purchasing a product from IFB.
