Idea Charged Illegally for Pop-ups opened during internet browsing

Subject : Idea Cellular Charged Illegally for Pop-ups window opened during internet browsing…

Location/place: Pune

Name of company/service: Idea Cellular Ltd.

This complaint is against my mobile service provider ‘Idea Cellular Ltd.’ and my mobile No. is 8888094050.

At the time of incidence (Oct 16th 2013, 4.10pm) i was browsing internet torrent site where i clicked in a search bar to enter my search criteria … immediately after clicking in search bar new pop-up window was opened which i closed within a second…

at same time (4.10pm) I got below SMS on my mobile from ‘IZ-ideaCMS’ saying :
Dear Customer,
thank you for downloading Combo_dhamaka from SYMBIOTIC.
You have been charged Rs. 30

I looked into my mobile downloads as well as installed softwares and did not found any traces of Combo_dhamaka… I did talked with Idea customer care however they told me that I did a content download which is not VAS from idea and they cannot refund.

please note that idea cellular maintains two different balances for my pre-paid phone – one talk-time balance and second 3G internet balance.
currently I have a unlimited 3G internet package which allows me any size of internet download and browsing.
– For this incidence idea deducted money from my talk-time balance which is completely illegal as idea is not authorized to pay third parties from my account without my authorization, balance maintained in my account is for completely different purpose

Idea Cellular Ltd. has cheated me by using wrong tactics to deduct money and i guess these third party companies should be paying idea cellular a good chunk of money for allowing these activity..

Action needed – refund me the deducted balance asap and should stop these type of activity else i will close my account with idea and will chose another service provider..
