I have ordered a Ubislate7+ tablet from Datawind on 7 Jan 2012. Below is the entire issue.
Dear Team,
I have ordered to get the Ubislate 7+ Tablet on Jan 7, 2012 when the cost of the tablet was Rs.2999 only as per the below order confirmation mail I received from your response team.
Since it was a pay on delivery order I waited for it more that it’s usual time of delivery. With response to the query I made for the same I received a mail which states that the device will be provided to me at the cost of Rs. 3499.
Since the order was placed when the price of the product was Rs.2999, I will not be paying the more amount as mentioned in the mail below. The priority system does not make you capable of delaying all the request to the extent of people loosing interest in your product. If it was the case that the booking of the device should have been allowed on the prepaid cases only. Since I as a customer had the right to prefer the payment option from those provided to me at the time when I booked the device, you are not at all entitled to change the price for delivery.
If required I will surely raise a complain in the consumer forum and will ask for the compensation for all the discomfort caused to me by your end. Below is the mail as I received for order booking –
