Hardware issue on iphone 4s – manufacturing defect

2 years back (Dt. 29/10/2012) I have purchased an iphone 4S (IMEI No. 013177003407377, Serial no. DNPJDH3RDTC0, GSM, 16GB, BLACK) for Rs. 37000.00. It was running very fine and without any problem.

Just couple of weeks back I have installed IOS 8.1 and started giving problems, here are the problems mentioned below,
1. Battery getting drained immediately
2. Body heating issue while using any application
3. Network searching issue
4. Whatsapp application not working
5. Suddenly gets shut-off / switched-off even though the battery is charged

After observing all the above problem I have taken my iphone to authorised service provider i.e. RSG INFOTECH PVT. LTD, Pune, Maharashtra, India. Name of the technacian Anjali. RSG INFOTECH checked the iphone (service case no. – S00341//14 dt. 8th Nov 2014) and they said that it is a hardware and manufacturing defect so the iphone has to be replaced.

But this replacement will cost me i.e. they have offered me an exchange prize of Rs. 11800.00 it means that I have to pay and get a new iphone 4S.
It means that to buy one Apple product I have to spend (RS. 37000.00 + 11800.00 = 48800.00).

Here are my below questions to Apple,
1. Does iphone product manufacturing is so bad that Apple products starts giving problem within 2 years?
2. Who is responsible for hardware and manufacturing defects?
3. Is hardware and manufacturing defects and cost to it should be bourned by customer?
4. What is the reliability and how much faith we have to keep on Apple product?

I am am very ordinary customer where I cannot invest or spend extra cost of Rs. 11800.00 every two year just for hardware and manufacturing defects.

Request you to look into this issue and do the needful.

I have sent several mails to Tim Cook i.e. on Monday, November 10, 2014 1:04 PM and till date I have sent three reminders (1st on – Thursday, November 13, 2014 2:13 PM, second on – Monday, November 17, 2014 3:10 PM and third on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 8:05 PM) to him but I have not received any reply from Tim nor from Apple company.

Even I have raised a call on Apple service center, case id no. – 693308379 dt. 9th Nov 2014.

Thanks in advance.
