Haraasment against cancellation of HOtel booking

I live in Bangalore,Karnataka.My no:+91 9739955602

I booked 2 rooms in Rajmahal Hotel in Chikmagalur,Karnataka for 1 day over the phone for 9th June 2014.However due to some unforseen circumstances i was not able to go to chikmangalur.Now the owner of the hotel Sameer huseen is demanding me money and he has lodged a Police compaint against me as well.The owner of the hotel never told me regarding the cancellation policies ever in my discussion and on top of it he is harrassing me that i know many people and a police notice has also come to my house in Bangalore.

I am still ready to give hime some amount provided that he takes back his complaint.But police is again and again asking me to come to Chikmagalur to settle the case and harrasing me that if i dont go to chikmagalur then they will launch FIR gainst me for such small issue.

I am still ready to resolve the case by giving some amount but i dont want to go to chikmagalur beacuse i am afraid they will take some unncessary action against me.
