   Dear Vikas
   The same thing happened with me also.The airtel reps had mass activation in my case wherein they activated this zero rental plan of 10 paise/Kb which is Rs 1/ MB of data charge without my knowledge. I once tried in the dongle and its just worked which i used for 02 days and whopping bill of 2000 rs was intimated. On continued persuance with airtel i came to know that they activated GPRS service zero rental on 09 Jan 13 whereas my sim connection is two year old.They will try to give to discount which will be like 500-600 Rs .They have three levels of escalation . 121, nodal officer and appellant. To surprise , all three are handled by the airtel reps, so do not hope for any solution as they will not admit there mistake coz their reps are only handling all three levels of escalation. Additionally you will always find that multiple people will call and mail you. You know why??? Coz if only one person handles the case , he /she will have to give you solution. If multiple people in org handle the case, you will not know who is the main person and will always have to explain case everytime and they will be happy that you are now confused that what’s Happening. I CAN CHALLENGE THAT SAME WILL HAPPEN WITH YOU ALSO!!THIS is their MODUS OPERANDI.
   I’m in process of writing letter to TRAI about this coz they have very conveniently given the same level of escalation without any person from independent org to direct them that is why they are least bothered. Therefore even if time permits i’m planning to go to consumer court coz they will only listen to official Diktat.
