Genuine NGOs who really work for the poor backward underprevileged people never get support from the Govt or corporate sector or donors. It is 100% true atleast for the following three NGOs in West bengal : Vivekananda Child Welfare Home at kakdwip (South 24 parganas District),which is a four storied school building giving educational support to poor children but due to shortage of fund could not maintain the big school building, it is in bad condition.2) Kakdwip Society for Child Welfare where there are about 50 orphans who are being served with good accomodation but lack the funding support in order to give better help to the orphans, 3) Starve prevent Foundation, Baruipur (South 24 parganas) who are working in women empowerment (microfinance) helping about 121 poor village women to become self sustained. No defaulter on the part of the women. Great demand and more and more number of poor village women demanding money support from this NGO but unfortunately this NGO could not expand its money support because they do not get and help/. donation neither from Govt or corporate sector. That is why it is my conclusion that the genuine NGOs never get any help/ fund/donation . Anybody can verify the activities of these three NGOs by visiting the spot personally.
