I HAVE AN AIRTEL PREPAID CONNECTION AND WANTED TO RECHARGE MY MOBILE ( NO.: 9635825776). WHEN I CHECKED ON THEIR AIRTEL PAYMENT WEBSITE: https://pay.airtel.com/PrepaidOnlineRecharge/mobileRecharge.jsp, IT SAID THAT THE FULL TALKTIME WITH NO VALIDITY AMOUNT WAS 200, 330, 440, 500 AND 1000 INR. SO I RECHARGE WITH 330 THROUGH PAYTM TRANSACTION ID: SBIPG ON 04/03/2013 AT 11:13:21. bUT THE AMOUNT THAT WAS CREDITED WAS ONLY 293.70 INR. WHEN I INQUIRED WITH THE CUSTOMER CARE THEY MENTIONED THAT THE PAYMENT SITE IS NOT UPDATED SO I SHOULD HAVE FIRST CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE AND ASKED ABOUT THE TARIFF THEN RECHARGE. I WAS SHOCKED. I CHECKED THE TARIFF FROM THE PAYMENT WEBSITE FROM WHERE ONLINE RECHARGES ARE DONE SO HOW IS IT NOT UPDATED. THIS IS PURPOSEFUL MISLEADING. HOW CAN A COMPANY LIKE AIRTEL NOT UPDATE THEIR ONLINE RECHARGE SITE FROM WHERE EVERY MINUTE THOUSAND PEOPLE RECHARGE. AND IT IS NOT THAT I CHECKED THE TARIFF FROM A BROCHURE OR PAMPHLET, IT WAS FROM THE AIRTEL ONLINE RECHARGE SITE. THIS IS SHEER HARRASMENT TO THE CUSTOMERS AND CHEATING. I WANT MY AMOUNT BACK AND THE WHOLE AMOUNT OF 330 INR TO BE CREDITED TO MY ACCOUNT.
