Froud done by tata docomo GSM services.

I am using tata docomo GMS no 8097375802. On 7th of Jan they have fraudly activated VAS
services ‘MOdelVideoClub’. I was using internet on my mobile when a screen came to activate
this pack for Rs. 99, suddenly i canceled the request. But in morning i saw a message that
this pack was activated and Rs. 99 was deducted from my prepaid account without my
permission. I called customer care but they are not ready to accept their fault. I don’t
know how it was got activated where as i have canceled the request and why it was not asked
for the payment option and directly deducted from my main account.

I have been trying to file a complain through their site
https://www.tatadocomo.com/gmyaccount.aspx, but this site is showing down from last 5 days
for my mobile no 8097375802. Also i am not able to activate DND for my number.

Last time also they deducted Rs 50 when i was on roaming whereas i had 2 GB of data in my
account, when i turned off the internet i got message that Rs 4.5 has been deducted for
internet, but when i check my account total Rs 50 was deducted, Then i called customer care
and they told me that Rs 50 has been deducted. At that time i didn’t file any complain. I
think thats why they are repeating their froud. I have been using this services from very
long time but now i am afraid of the froud and planning to close the services. This issue
should be also escalated to TRAI level. Please pass this message to TRAI also.

    As per the telephonic conversation over the call, We would like to inform you that upon checking thoroughly with our records there is no wrong balance deduction found on your number for internet browsing. Hence there is no discrepancy on your account.

    Kindly note that the DND service has already been registered with reference number DND11286485777 from 08-JAN-15.

    We would like to inform you that the balance deduction of Rs.99/- is due to the VAS service(Nazara) which has been activated from your end through self mode on dated 7-1-2015. As per your request we have already deactivated all Value Added Services and as of now there are no value added services are active. However, we have credited Rs. 99/- as a goodwill gesture with the reference number ABAL1211751937 dated 14-1-15.

    We request you to do not click on any chargeable pop up links while browsing the internet in order to avoid balance depletion in future. As of now there are no Value Added Services active on your number. We request you to please be careful while browsing (Apps/website) or dialing any short codes.
