Free Lance Artist Online Fraud

Hi
I am based out of hyderabad. I wanted to gift a customized sculpture as a farewell gift to a senior member of my organization.

I found out about a freelance sculptor through Just Dial. His name is JP Negi from Delhi. We exchanged few calls and after I shared the picture and the details of the sculpture I wanted JP Negi agreed to do it. he requested for an advance of INR 4000 to start the work. After I paid the advance through online transfer. He started the work and then stopped responding to my calls, messages. He is not willing to refund my amount or complete the work.

We communicated through Whatsapp and I have all the communication archived till date. I also have details of online transfer

    Dear Mr Ankit.

    First you approached me for a model of human figurine of 8 -9 inch for which we agreed upon a price of Rs 15000. You paid an advance of RS 4000. I have done clay model of the figure and sent you pics for approval. You stated that you will discuss it with your seniors and get back to us. You suggested some amendments which were incorporated. We sent pics to you. Now you requested to include a machine model along with the figurine although it was not communicated to us earlier. Still we accommodated your request in same price. We again made model with figure and machine part and sent picture to you. Now you instructed us to cut the machine portion and do amendments. It seemed as you did not have clear picture what you wanted us to make.
    We still honoured your request and cut the machine portion. Again you have come up with the request of adding machine portion of different design. Please understand customized statue work needs to have clear instructions and inputs for the artist. You lacked on the same. You were not clear what you wanted to make.
    As per your last watsapp message, you stated that occasion has gone but you still wanted to gift piece to the person concerned. If you want the artist to complete the work on time, you must have clear picture what you wanted to make.
    As far as the refund of money is concerned, I have worked on the piece for 7-8 days, honoured your amendment request. So no money refundable.

    Once you write some reviews about any one , make sure to write true picture. One side story will not be justified.
