Reliance Insurance
My mom received a call from this number 7439141427, saying he is calling from Reliance insurance. Was told that there is a bonus for the policy she holds(she has no polic with reliance) She was asked to send her
1. ID Proof
2. Cancelled Cheque
3. I photo
4. A/C Payee cheque in the name of reliance insurance of rs 25000/-
My mom was very confused until I intervened. After having spoken to the agent, he confidently gave his name and employee code as Aditya Chauhan, emp code RELC1179849 (which is obviously fake). He was confident that he would not be traced as he must have been calling from one of your phones and you have possibly no mechanism to check who makes calls to whom.
The above said documents are the requiste documnets for a new policy without doubt. So, it is some of your agents calling.
What I request is kindly trace the person if possible. Otherwise I will have to lodge an FIR against the number.
