This is to bring under your kind notice the fraud that is done to me in the name of online shopping by “Naaptol”
My name is Sukanya Barua, W/O Snigdha Jyoti Barua, resident of Barahalia,
Dist-Sonitpur, P.S & P.O Tezpur,
Pin-784001(ASSAM).
On 7th of January 2013, I have placed an order by credit card facility on “www.naaptol.com” for Autocop Remote Central Locking + Car Safety Security System bearing order
no.(5743360). According to the details provided by Naaptol, the order was shipped on 12th of January 2013 through ARAMEX Courier bearing shipment
no. (4468827963)from Mayapuri branch Delhi. It was then further shipped to Kolkata branch on 13th of January 2013 and it reached Kolkata Hub on 13th itself. Today is 27th of January, its been more than 20 days since I placed the order, but I still don’t have the product. On inquiring about the same to Aramex Courier & Naaptol aswell, Iam being told that my shipment is in hold by the Sales Tax Department Kolkata. I asked them as if how long will it take for them to get the clearance from Sale Tax and deliver the product to me. But I was told that it was uncertain, so I asked them to cancel my order, then I was told that since the order is already shipped it cannot be cancelled. The money that was charged for the product was already paid to them in advance at the time of order itself, i.e. 7/1/2013.
Since they already received the money, they now don’t seemed to bother about us. They don’t seemed to response to our repeated calls, our mails. I have lost all hope & so want wholeheartedly for some legal actions to be taken against them. If necessary I can produce the screen prints of all the details of the transactions with Naaptol & Aramex courier as well.
