Dear All, I had placed an order on Shopclue.com on 13th June 2013. I had placed an order for Steelseries QCk Mini for Rs.489 and the order number is 4296625. Till next two weeks after the order was placed i dint get any intimation on the delivery. In the third week i got a message from the site that the merchant had dispatched the order but it was undelivered since there was no one at home. When i got this message via email from them i replied to them that the merchant has not shipped my product and secondly if he has then where was my shipment number or any reference number of the courier company? The merchant hence was not able to provide me with any number and even if he has i was at home the whole week as i was not well and haven’t got any delivery of the product. Either the merchant is fooling here with the consumer or either the shipment company has robbed my product or damaged it.

On fourth week when i checked the status of my delivery on the website i was shocked to find that my order was cancelled and there was no refund made to my account if it was cancelled. I immediately called their customer care number 0124-441 4888 who made me wait more than 5 mins until the tele caller agent came online. After inquiry of my order number they said that the merchant has cancelled the order (without any consent or intimation) and mentioned the reason as the product not in stock. So on 5th July i came to know that the product is not in stock and i was like a fool still waiting for its delivery. The tele agent apologized for the inconvenience and asked me to wait for processing of my refund which means that my refund would never proceeded unless i call them to inform that my order was cancelled.

Firstly why the merchant took so much time for dispatch of the delivery? Secondly why i was not intimated about the status via call and email? Thirdly when my product was cancelled why i was not informed about it? Fourthly why my refund was not processed? Fifth why the purchased product is still on display on the website despite the product not in stock?

I want to take strict action against the merchant and the website shopclue.com for making the consumer wait for the delivery and lately fooling them. When the product is not in stock then the remarks has to be made on website or the merchant has to pull off the product from listing. This is really not acceptable.

Below as quoted when i tried to put comments about the product for others to be aware they ignored to take any comments. Hence i am ready to go to consumer court for taking legal action against fraud and mental harassment.

“Guys the merchant who is selling this product is a fraud. Please be aware before purchasing anything from him. I had placed an order on 13th June i had to wait for delivery for more than 2weeks. On 3rd week i get the intimation that product was couriered and undelivered. Whereas i dint get any reference number of the delivery company nor i did any courier on that day. After 4th week they have cancelled my order without my intimation or consent. Upon calling the customer care they told me the product is out of stock and hence merchant is unable to deliver the same. My question is if the product is out of stock then also why there is a active listing on this site? Why the merchant is accepting order despite of no stock in the warehouse? This is really a fraud and pathetic to keep us waiting for more than a month.. I feel like slapping them with official letter of consumer court”
