Fraud – Cheated by Photographer Anbu Jawahar

Name of company/service: Anbu Jawahar Photography

I had availed the service of Anbu Jawahar to cover my wedding. He advertises himeslf of a candid Photograher. He insisted on a 50 % deposit but without a receipt. I made the mistake of having a trust on this Photograbher based on his Pictues posted in Facebook.

After, he covered the Wedding photoshoot which was a 8 Hour Schedule which included the wedding and the Beach Photoshoot on the same day. He promised a delivery of the Printed Album in 4 – 6 weeks. After 2 months, when i tey to reach him, he never responds to e-mails , Phone or SMS. He responds and replies indirectly in Facebook comenting he cannot take calls as he is too busy.

After, lot of efforts and complaints in Public forum.s he realsied the risk of losing his credibility , he delivered a DVD. The DVD does not have the pictures from the Beach Photoshoot. Also, wedding pictures were incomplete .

Whena sked for the reason he quoted it’s all he can do and it was low light .
Certainly, that’s a lie .

Then, it came to light that he has not Delivered most of the Albums which are due for delivery from June 2011.

Now, i don’t have the picures nor the Deposit amount.
I have made a deposit via Internet Banking for whcih he denied to give me a receipt.

Please suggest me a way to take further action
