Respected Sir,
I stay in New Delhi and I am using a Vodaphone Delhi number(7838893848) and I had traveled to Agartala which is my home town to visit my family and my account balance was deducted(Rs.900) without any reason claiming that i am on International roaming.I have not gone outside the territory of India.
I have lodged a complaint in Vodafone customer care but they were not ready to lodge my complaint in the first place stating that Agartala and north east areas are not part of India and you have been charged correctly. But I somehow was able to convince them to at least file a complaint. I am sure they will not refund my balance which convinces me that i have been cheated. My Vodaphone complaint number is 30861101 and I spoke to Mr. Pardeep Singh in Vodaphone, Okhla, New Delhi who only claimed that these areas are not part of India.
I request you to kindly investigate the matter as these kind of deductions are now a daily routine of mobile service providers and is so unfair to we, the customers. I am really looking forward for a positive response from your end which sets an example to all these service providers who charge customers for services they have not availed.
