I received call from mobile number 919599507856, saying he is calling from SBI. He also told about my debit & credit card details and redeem details of my account. By earing this I believed that he is from SBI.
And told that he is going to convert the redeem points to cash and same will be deposited in either my debit or credit card. This happened on 27/02/2016. He also added that once I gave the card number of both I will get sms with OTP. Same as happened, immediately he asked the OPT, I also gave the same within 5 minutes he made around 6 transactions with value of around 56000.
Yesterday evening only I came to know that I was cheated. Today immediately I blocked my cards through SBI customer service and launched complained on fraud phone call transaction. And asked the bank manager to stop the transaction if it is not transfers. If it is transferred I asked bank manger try to retrieve the money to my account.
Again today I received call from same mobile number at 4.45pm(01/03/2016) asking the same card details. I asked him to call after 6.0pm. Immediately I rushed near by police station and explained all above incidents and he is calling again, I asked the police personal to track and take action on him. They not even seen the phone number and they refused to track and catch the person by saying that he might be calling from other state, so they can’t do anything.
I don’t know what to do. So I am lunching this complained through online. Please catch the person and punish him if possible get my money back.
