Hi,

I own a Ford Fusion Plus (DL 3 CAN – 2417) bought from South City Ford and had been getting my vehicle serviced/ repaired from them.
After they closed operations I have been taking my vehicle to Harpreet Ford Workshop at Ghaziabad (Near Anand Vihar Bus Terminus).

My vehicle had been having problems with one or other other part conking down and being replaced in warranty which was valid for 4 years. There has been two serious problems which have not been sorted out yet and I am suffering every now and then on this problem while the Ford workshop has not been able to identify the root of the problem or they do not want to rectify it. Apart from other technical snags that were fixed on a number of occasions all these 4 years, two problems are still persisting and I have been wasting too much time at the workshop.

There had been many parts changed so far from the time of purchase of vehicle – Power windows, starting motor, Ac Fan, wiring, switches, Etc etc..which is in records of the workshop

1- Electrical Systems Problem : The vehicle has been malfunctioning on Electrical circuits for more than two years. The entire car circuit/ ignition/ battery/ central lock goes dead at times and car doesn’t respond to anything…..I have been complaining it to Ford India on their President’s Desk email and even to Harpreet Ford. They have not been able to identify the reason for these errors and maintain a callous attitude on it. My vehicle just goes dead in the middle of anywhere and doesn’t respond to anything… Even if I open the car with the keys and try to start, Engine doesn’t respond as it remains locked due to electrical failure. My car has been facing this situation for more than two years now and they have been failing to rectify it. I am living in despair after spending lakhs of rupees over buying a car from my hard earned money.

2 – Air Conditioner : The AC cooling has been a problem. A number of part related to AC have been changed in warranty and otherwise and yet the picture remains in a sorry state.

I have a complete record of all the emails sent to Ford India President Help Desk and Workshop people.

Every other month, my car is at the workshop and it has become a hazard for me….more of a depression now.

It is a humble appeal and request to please provide some assistance further, on atleast these problem which have been repetitively haunting me. These problems have been identified within the warranty period and persistent for so long. I have always been a positive customer, feedback provider and well wisher for Ford. Have always referred Ford brand to numerous people who presently own a Ford Vehicle.

I understand that they have done work and replaced faulty parts so many times constantly in warranty but that doesn’t take away the fact that they have delivered a vehicle that develops so many technical snags which is a constant botheration to me. Every-time the car has a problem, it becomes a problem for me. I have been spending my time and efforts every time and living in fear of malfunctioning in the car constantly.

The point is :

– That even if they are replacing the parts and repairing the vehicle, how come they have delivered such a vehicle which keeps developing technical snags every now and then which results in a constant botheration and depression too the customer. This simply means that the Quality check of the vehicle was not proper and it was passed on to the customer. They cannot be Defiant on this aspect.

I had been questioning this to the Ford Customer Service people who kept calling me whenever I had been writing to them They did assist in getting it repaired and parts changed. But it doesn’t erase the problems from reoccurring everytime.

I am really fed-up and could not hold my patience any longer and hence thought of writing to you.
