This is in reference with a credit card which I had from the Barclays and automatically converted into standdard chartered, from past 8 months I am struggling with these problem,
1)I do not have a valid card #
2) I did not receive the card on my address.
3) I raised complaint several times to the customer care they advised me to make payment of 500, so that they can finalise the settlement, I did that, still it is the same.
3)I got agreement number when I made 500 rupees deposit was(xxx)this is an invalid card number when I dialfor the customer care line).
4) I was making reguler payment on my barclays card and all my personal details(address etc) were updated in their data base, suddenly 1 fine day I was changed to a new card number,I had a 15000 bill I made 10000 rupees payment on my barclay, and received a call and asked not to make any payment to the barclay card.
I did not receive my card as well, and collection people started chasing me for the money with interest, this is the case from past eight month, neither my address has been updated, nor the settlement is done , neither I have the card, and collection dept. chase me for the money and and obviously have added a lot of interest.
My concern is it is banks fault & I have been victimised, please close that card, and tell me what needs to be done.
