Faulty Product and bad customer care

Location/place: Gurgaon

Name of company/service: CNP PUMPS

we bought a pump from CNP PUMPS which went out of work when still in warranty. When we contacted company then they first replied after 20 days and after long conversations and useless mechenic visits, they suggested us to but a new pump worth 25,000.

Or to summerise

1. No Reply Received till date and first reply received after 20 days of our complaint. ( even when complaint was marked to service and all global head )
2. Even in their own email they have accepted the point of handling 5 complaints in the period of 50 days, company is not ready for any replacement of the product. ( Pump is under warranty )
3. Resonable solution provided by company for under warranty product is “buy new pump” which costs Rs 25000

Dear Amit, according to your report pump was repaired 6 times in 10 months and last time repair was temporary ( as you have mentioned ).

in all other pump and plants we are using ( Last 8 Years ) we have never experienced more than one failure in a year. and how frustrated a user would feel when they need to book a complaint on every 12 days ( last 5 complaints executed between 5th March 2013 to 3rd of May 2013 ) and 3rd may repair was temporary as mention by you. technician informed us that this pump will not work. eventually you are giving us a reasonable solution: buy new pump. ( you expect customer to spend Rs 24000 every 10 month on your product. )

a reputed company like yours would definitely understand customer frustration and resolve this issue.
