Faulty description leading to an order

Location/place: Delhi

Name of company/service: Rediff shopping

Had ordered a hair dryer from the rediff shopping site based on their description but received something substantially different.
Had been asked to send photographs and, detail the differences but even after doing so and repeated follow up, there is NO RESPONSE from rediff shopping!

Am copying the emails sent to them below:

Can someone please revert with the status or like your customer support number where calls remain
unattended this too is a hoax to defraud unsuspecting customers?
Am really taken aback by the irresponsible and callous attitude!!!!!!!!!!!

The website picture depicts a hair dryer with two distinctive set of switches – one for the
heating element and the other for the blower presumably.

The product received however is apparently a travel hair dryer (size 6.5 inches X 7 inches:
which you would agree is NO JUMBO SIZE and certainly not for professional beauty parlour use!)
with a single switch with 2 settings and a 850W (NOT 1000 & 2000 temperatures!) capacity! This
is contrary to the claims in the narration of the product and also in total contrast to the
pictorial representation of 2 sets of switches!
I am attaching a set of pictures for your review and expect a speedy redressal through
exchange of the product in line with the claims of the seller.
