Dear Sir,
My Name is Varun Kumar having date of birth :- 29-May-1984 and mobile number 9999988099.
I applied in Citi Bank Credit card one month back from today but CITI bank rejected by application by saying that my credit score (provided by CIBIL) is not sufficient.
I am salaried person working as a Software Engineer in HCL technologies earning 610000 per annum and have a salary bank account number as well. Apart from 3 debit cards, I also have a HDFC Platinum Credit Card as well which I am using for last 4 years. I always paid my Credit card bills on time ( you can check my Payment History from the bank). So, I am not sure why my rating is not sufficient to apply for a new card in Citi Bank. Please get it clarified soon, I think it been a False credit score.
