I got a call from a firm by the name Aura Seven about 2 weeks back regarding an offer on using the HDFC Bank credit card for which they provided me some gift hampers and 2 holiday vouchers for absolutely free of cost hotel stay of 4 people each costing 7999 INR.
Over the phone they told me that the list of destination for utilizing the holiday vouchers will be provided by them, but the accommodation there will be of my choice. It was confirmed thrice over the call by their executives. When i received the package, i saw that they have provided the accommodation list too. I reported this thing immediately to them. On mutual agreement, it was decided that they will play the confirmation call recording for me. If my claim found to be fraudulent i will accept it else if it is true they will go for complete refund. Fortunately for me, over the recording the claim was true and their executive raised the request for refund.
Today, after 2 days i again got a call from them, informing me that there is no cancellation kind of thing with them. When i argued that their executives themselves confirmed on cancellation the guy over the other end told me that those all employees who talked to me have left the company. and if i want to go for cancellation i will need to pay 2500 INR.
I am unable to understand how could a company fire 4 of its employees on a single day and that too only those who all were related to my issue. Its such a fake. Moreover, every single minute the company keeps on changing its cancellation and refund policy.
Please help me on this. Over the internet i could find many others who have been cheated upon by the same firm with similar issues.
