Excess claimed interest on housing loan at DHFL, Hubli.

I had housing loan at DHFL, Hubli vide loan account no. 4109, at the time, the same loan has been taken over to Can fin Homes, Hubli on 12.07.2012 by paying outstanding balance meanwhile the DHFL, Hubli has deducted the July-2012 full month EMI by considering (Pricipal Amount Rs 660/- + Interest Rs 10308/- ) July-2012 interest. So kindly give clarification of interest payable at the time of closing/takeover also the bank officials taken full month interest instead of 12 days interest.
