I, Garima Khanna, ex-employee Everymedia Technologies Pvt. Ltd. would like to register a complaint against the above mentioned company for harassing me from past 3 months and not releasing my Full & Final Payments.
Just to brief a little about the company, Everymedia Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is a small online media marketing agency based in Mumbai. They have two tiny offices in Chembur & Andheri and an even smaller setup of barely 2-3 people in Delhi (opened only for handling one client which is headquartered in Delhi)
Firstly, they hired me as a Senior Project Manager for their Delhi office and the following details had been mis-communicated by their Human Resource Department –
1. I will be given a team of 8-10 people in Delhi office while in reality there were only 3 people sitting in the office out of which 1 technical assistant was from another company only.
2. I will be given all the facilities at workplace but I didn’t even have a dedicated Chair & table to place my laptop. And the place for having food or at least putting a lunch box never existed in that tiny room they claimed as Agency office.
3. I was appointed as a full time resource to lead the operations of their client. But after one and a half months, the Vice President asked me to leave the job because they said they had hired me only for a project and if they has communicated the same to me before joining then obviously I would have not signed for it.
4. I was given an offer letter and then asked to give it back the next day without stating any clear reason. When I refused to return it, their IT person sitting in Delhi office started harassing me.
Though the short experience of 1 month & 18 days working for Everymedia Technologies has been terrible, the real harassment from this management began since my last working day. Without any proper reason, my laptop was snatched and I was pushed out of the office. I received a call from the Vice President who shouted at me indecently and asked me to leave office premises immediately.
It has been 3 months since then and the company is not ready to release my 18 days salary which was committed to be given within 60 days of the employees’ resignation date. In my case, I was supposed to get my cheque for Full & Final by 18th April 2014 but it has been over a month post that date and I am yet to receive the payment.
I have been trying to contact the HR & the management from last 30 days but they are not taking the calls, neither replying to emails or messages. When contacted 5-6 times a day, the HR shouts on call and uses inappropriate language.
I seek your help in this matter. Please let me know if any legal proofs required from my end. I also have the copies of reminder mails and follow up messages sent to the company to which I got no response. Also, I have a telephone recording of their Vice President harassing me verbally.
