   It is a so called online shopping company which promote fake contests eg .a contest called Dream gold contest where they promise the winning amount from 50,000 to 21,00,000/. The person claiming to be a sales executive will call and tell that you have won the prize money through the random selection process and will tell you to pay Rs.3999/- as a registration fees for confirming the participation. Once the registration fees are paid they will ask you to pay the tax amount to pay for the government for eg if they tell that you have won 11,00,000/- they will ask to pay Rs. 50,000/- upfront for disbursal of the said amount which is totally illegal and fake.
   I did some research and found out
   1) The product listing on the http://www.shoppistan.com are same as on http://www.shopcherries.com the domain owner Rahul Dundona, contact:9560648648
   2) Company mails you a invoice when you pay the registration fees of 3999/-. The company head office address on the invoice is (Indraprastha Estate , Opposite KK Hospital , Ramghar Road , Aligarh , UP – 202001). I did some digging through my friends in Aligarh and found out that there is neither building registered to shoppistan.com nor any eRetail company exists in the radius of 100 km. If asked with the executive they say the company headquarter is confidential and can’t be revealed that is totally BS.
   3) A woman by the name Shraddha Sharma claiming to be contest head calls and ask for all the details to close the file and disburse the winning amount. She claims that the company is gona be biggest eRetail company in India and owned by renowned business mens, but she wont share the company address neither the Owner of the company. Funny thing is I gave a call next day and asked for Shraddha Sharma and no executive in the company have ever heard person by that name working with them.
   4) They claim to send a complementary product once registered for Contest , for me it was laxmi ji gold plated note. The executive claims Bluedart to be a official currier partner and the product will delivered within 8 business days Even after 3 months of registration date I never received the product nor the refund. I checked with Bluedart and found out that is no company called shoppistan.com that they know of tying up as a currier partner

   Hey guys,
   I had also been victim of fraud by shop cherries.com The fraud scheme was similar as mentioned by shadow. They involved me in transaction of 5000 rs for purchasing their product and enter in their shopping contest named shopping carnival 2015. After that they have told me that I won the Switzerland trip worth Rs 4 lac. For encashing this money firstly they told me to pay half tax of Rs 50000. After paying this I suddenly found that this site is fraud when I saw one complaint on yahoo regarding this site. After that I did many tries to get my money back. I had recorded all calls and had mails as proof. By complaing in many forums and after making more then 150 calls they had given me my money back. This happened before 3 months. In this time duration I made one Facebook friend who previously worked in this fraud company. Then I asked all about this and she told me that they are doing frauds all the time and cheating innocent people. After that today I got call from todayIndiashopping.com which told me the similar kind of offer. Then I told them to mail me in which I found that this site is also run by shopcherries.com
   Now I want to do something against these fraud people. I can get the address where they are sitting in delhi by my friend. Any of you also feel the same and living near delhi please call me on 9428765463. I will help you with my best to teach these people a lessen for life.

   Thank you all, after reading your compliants, i did not buy the products from shopistan, even though they called me so many times.

   When i spoke to Rahul Sharma for the same company, he denies of such charges, he says people are trying to defame there Site….. i said people in consumer forms will not try to defame you, but are real people how has faced the problem.
   Friends, please dont fall prey to this sites and calls. My request to all, please do surf consumer forms, before you take a decision.

   I lost 250000/- but on 5.11.15 I came 2 know that the owner of Shoppistan was behind the bars. Another company is helping the victims by refunding the amount by cheque against some commission.

   Few days ago. I received a call Mr. Neeraj (7053425157) from e-commerce stating that they have launched a new e-commerce website. Earlier they were the subvendor of flipkart and amazon etc. I have been selected as a lucky buyer. They want me to put forth as the brand ambassador for their promotional event. The site is hosting a win gold contest for which they have selected customers; 11 customers for the premium prizes and other customers for normal prizes. Currently I am on no 5 with points and they will host an event in delhi for which I will be sent passes and in that a re-shuffle of top 11 customers will be done and prizes will be distributed
   1. 21 lakh
   2. 11 lakh
   3. 5 lakh
   4. Hyundai eon
   5. 3 lakh
   6. bajaj pulsar
   7. 50k.
   So I will be getting a minimum of 5lakh as I am in top 5. I was told that the media partner of the event. When I thoroughly inquired he transferred my call to some Mr. Ankush Mehra (North prize disbursal manager – 9069583909) from here I started recording his call. He managed to convince me that for participating I have to buy something from their site and register. He managed to get 1 Gold chain worth Rs 9000/- purchased from this site. I was told that it is a 19 ct gold plated worth Rs 25000/- net weight of pure gold. After some time I got a call from the verification dept for the confirmation of the order. And I was told that I will receive the order within two days as they are going to ship it by overnight priority. I was not satisfied to this products then since that day the Customer Care as well as the sales executive Mr Anurag has stopped taking my calls.
   I seriously suppose that I have been trapped in an online fraud. When I searched for this site it did not show the name and no of the owner.

   The person claiming to be a sales executive will call and tell that you have won the prize money through the random selection process and will tell me as have sent the mail and pay Rs.8000/- as a fees for confirming for the chq. disbursal of Rs. 365000/- . Once the processing fees are paid they will ask you to pay the tax amount to pay for the government for eg if they tell that you have won 11,00,000/- they will ask to pay Rs. 21600/- upfront for disbursal of the said amount which is totally illegal and fake and after that he had demand Rs. 18000/-+7000+9000/-34000/- for file late processing penalty charges and i have transfer all amt to my account and then both person Mr. Neeraj and Mr. Ankush Mehra not attend the calls.

   I lost approx 100000/- if you help me, i can provide all bank transaction details.
