I had applied for Airtel broadband connection on 6th Feb 2014 and paid Rs 500 as registration charges. After 1 week, they contacted me and told me that there is no feasibility in my area and told me that they would refund my money back via cheque within 12 working days. Then time went on and it was more than 1 month and I called the customer care and reminded them of my refund amount then they told me that still they are checking the feasibility for my area and they thought they could provide the connection. So I was OK with that and waited for another week… and there was no response what so ever.. Then I contacted Airtel Call Center via call and mails and reminded again about my refund amount…. Finally they agreed to refund my amount(via Mail and Call) and told me that my refund cheque has been dispatched to my address… But still I am waiting for more than 2 months and I have not received “The Great Refund Cheque From Airtel”. Maybe the refund cheque is sent via some alien courier company so that’s why it is taking so much time.. I don’t know.. nor i can comment on that.. but the fact of the matter is that this issue still remains open despite repeated followups and a time span of more than “3 Months” When it comes to refund related issues especially concerning with Airtel Broadband Connection.. things are horrible and needs court or higher interventions on such matters for resolution. Please note my Reference number: (44299424) for the same, which claims to have been resolved but my refund amount is still not received by me yet. I hope that i get my refund amount and close this matter ASAP.
