DEMAND DRAFT DISHONOUR

Location/place: NO.34 VENKATESWARA COLONY 1ST STREET, MADHAVARAM MILK COLONY, KODUNGAIYUR, CHENNAI-51

Name of company/service: CHENNAI CORPORATION

I want to make Property Tax payment for the period Oct-11 to Mar-12 2nd half yearly tax and took a Demand Draft No.212805 dt. 19.03.2012 for Rs.261/- and the same collected by Corporation Bill collection staff and the same got dishonoured by Indian Overseas Bank, Washermenpet Branch stating that the Demand Draft having star mark before and after the amount and the DD issued by State Bank of India, Tambaram.

How a Demand Draft got dishonour after and the return note given by the banks saying that they will take legal action against me which is meaning less and 100% Banker fault and they are penalise me for their problem.

I paid saperately again Rs.261/- plus interest of Rs.100/- to chennai corporation which is not at all my fault.

I am 70 years old man, in view of this i got mental anoid and reset less after receiving this kind or error made by them and make our life miserable.

Please take suitable action and refund the interest amount which paid by me and the banker to pay penalty of Rs.2000/- to me because of their fault.
