I had agreed to settle my credit card account in November as per the bank’s settlement offer letter No.: MUM/TIMES BARCLAYCARD/96810 dated November 26, 2011 for full and final settlement on the above mentioned credit card in the name of Mr. Rahul Dilip Gupte, against which I had paid Rs. 15,000 (Receipt No. 1802285) and Rs. 7500 (Receipt No. 1802286) totaling to a amount of 22,500 on November 30, 2011.
It has been more than six months since I have made the payment but till date I have not received any NDC and also my name appears in the defaulter list in the CIBIL which is causing me a lot of difficulty in procuring home loan. I have made several calls to the call centers but every time I am given a new number and asked to contact on that number, which is always engaged. I have written a mail to the company about 10 days ago to which I got a reply “NDC request is already raised through Branch. Request you to check with Mr. ***** on 8108040502.” to which there is no response if I dial the number. Please look into the matter.
