deficiency in services

I, Pawan Kumar do hereby state that I am a Central Govt. employee and I got transferred from Chennai to Delhi and subsequently booked my household items through
SAFE INDIA MOVERS & PACKERS
Plot No. 18, Mahalaxmi Nagar,

Mob: 09380173300 on 29.11.2012 for safe and timely delivery at my residence in Delhi and the same was also promised by the travel agent and as expected as usual.

As I reached Delhi on 01.12.2012, my house hold goods had not reached till then which were desperately needed.  On non- arrival of consignment, I contacted Mr. Ramesh, a representative of the above movers and Packers  Co. who informed me that the truck bringing my consignments was under police custody for certain check at MP Boarder and it would reach Delhi within 2-3 days but after passing of three days time , the house hold goods did not reach to me, instead I got a telephone message from Mr. Ramesh, that the truck bringing my house hold goods had broken down on the way and needed some major repairing. This situation became very agonizing for me. Meanwhile I hired a room in hotel for my accommodation @ Rs. 850/- per day with a double bed & meals for 03 persons per day, I also took a flat on rent for which I paid Rs. 40000/- at the beginning( that includes security money as well). All these situations become unaffordable for me during that time, and I was almost going penniless.

Finally my household items reached to me on 16.12.2012 through another transport agency this caused a suspicion to me.  On receipt of the consignment I found that many items very badly damaged.  Fuel Tank of my bike was damaged fully, also the gear side and front side of the bike were damaged, my almirah was badly dented and was not in useable condition.

I brought all this to the notice of Mr. Ramesh, who promised/assured me that a compensation equal to the repairing charges of my damaged articles would be paid to me by the SAFE India Movers & Packers and requested me to get the damaged article repaired and send those bills to them.  I got my bike repaired and almirah was made to useable condition, and the copies of the said bills were sent to SAFE India Movers & Packers by speed post for reimbursement but there was no response from the SAFE India for the next two weeks, Thereafter I started enquiring & reminding to Mr. Ramesh for the reimbursement but on all occasions he just made promises of reimbursement and gave me the names of various persons related to him and who would make me the payment after contacting them. Though many persons could be contacted but none turned up for the payment of the compensation and avoided me with one pretext or the other.

Now I have been repeatedly trying to contact to the SAFE India Mover & Packers but to no avail, no one from this movers & packers service is attending my telephone call.

For keeping me in dark, causing hardship and trouble to me and my family, damaging household goods and not keeping promises made to me and not giving me the services as expected, I demand a compensation of Rs. 20368/-( Bike repairing charges of Rs. 6618/-, Almirah repairing charges of Rs. 3550/- and Hotel Room accommodation of Rs. 10200/-).
