I ordered new phone-Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos online on 22nd June, 2013 and I received it on 26th June, 2013. When I opened the kit, I found that the battery packed inside the kit, was bulged and defective and it was not fitting inside the phone. I called IndiaTimes shopping customer care number and those guys told me to contact Samsung customer care because this is a manufacturing defect, but when I called Samsung Customer Care, they told me to go to Service Center and they will replace my battery.
When I went to Service center which is around 8-9 kms from my place I was told that this battery replacement does not come under warranty. So what am I supposed to do with the defective battery which I got.. Was it my mistake that I got a defective piece. I could not even switch off my phone.
I have made innumerable calls to IndiaTimes/Samsung customer care but nobody is helping me.. I am feeling helpless.. Pls help me
